TIMARU PET RESORT

We are a family owned business lead by myself (Cherie) and my husband Brett. We have always been passionate about animals, in particular, dogs, cats and horses. We have always had family pets and have adopted several dogs and cats over the years from the SPCA to join our family. I also rode horses competitively at a younger age and still enjoy casual riding with my daughter Emma (16).

I have previously worked in two large kennels in the Auckland area and Brett and I developed a small successful kennel based at our property in Franklin. We enjoyed caring for the animals there so much we decided to make the move to Timaru so we could continue doing something we love.

Over the last few years I have successfully breed some Shih Tzu cross dogs and have enjoyed seeing the puppies growing up and join loving families of their own.

We have two children Emma and Nathan (14) whom also love animals which is probably why we now have 4 dogs and 4 cats of our own that we all love very much.

We have an amazing facility here at the Timaru Pet Resort and we, along with our wonderful staff, take pride in caring for your beloved pet as if they are just as much part of our family too
